The stop motion camp will provide an awesome creative outlet for aspiring directors and creators who need a spark of creativity over winter break. Students will have the opportunity to explore stop motion as a short film medium and cultivate their own artistic point of view. Our instructors will guide students through the process of storyboarding, set design, and video editing. Stop motion story lines will be up to our students, but may include items, such as: the changing of the seasons, a lego mini figure war, cooking a meal, an alien abduction, etc.
The sewing camp will allow campers to engage in 2-3 practical yet fashionable sewing projects Campers will have fun learning new techniques and expressing themselves through visual arts and design. Our instructors will guide students on the use of patterns, seam allowance, sewing machine functionality, stitching types and techniques such as: embroidery and button enclosures.

Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 8.
Registration starts on 11/01/2024 and ends on 01/02/2025.
