Whether you're fascinated by design, visual arts, sewing or creating wearable art, this class is for YOU! All projects will be hands-on, engaging and age appropriate, while encouraging student expression. It's so important for students to be in touch with their thoughts, ideas, and feelings, so we’re happy to provide a welcoming, calm and supportive environment.
Weekly projects will include both independent and collaborative projects. Our aim is to enhance challenge-based thinking as we work through the design, creation and exploratory process.
Visual art projects will infuse different techniques and mediums, such as: painting, drawing, sculpture etc.
Sewing projects will include items, such as: accessories, basic clothing items, and upcycling clothing (transforming an existing clothing item that is no longer used into a new, captivating piece).
This course will definitely spark your creativity and life skills within our students.
Please note: there will be No Classes during Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks.

Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 8.
Registration starts on 08/11/2024 and ends on 04/19/2025.
