Explore the intersection of creativity, design, and hands-on making at Design & Making Studio, a project-based STEAM camp for students in grades 3rd–9th. Throughout the week, campers will learn core design principles—such as balance, form, texture, and function—and apply them to the creation of three-dimensional objects designed for their personal space. This studio-style camp encourages students to think like designers as they plan, build, and refine meaningful, functional art.
Projects may include creating an artistic light fixture, a mixed-media hanging mobile, a papier-mâché sculpture, and a wall weaving, using a variety of materials and techniques. Campers will experiment, problem-solve, and make intentional design choices as they bring their ideas to life. The week concludes with a Friday Showcase, where families are invited to celebrate student work and experience a gallery of thoughtfully designed creations that reflect each camper’s unique style and creativity.

Spark Creativity Camp Overview
Spark Creativity Summer Camps transform curiosity into capability. Grounded in a hands-on, “learning by doing” approach, our programs immerse students in thoughtfully designed STEAM experiences that cultivate critical thinking, creative confidence, and real-world problem-solving skills.
From design and engineering to storytelling, making, and innovation, campers engage in meaningful, project-based work that strengthens collaborative and independent thinking — all within a supportive and inspiring environment. We’re happy to offer 9 weeks of enriching summer programs for grades 3rd-9th, where most weeks, campers can select from one of two specialized themes, allowing families to align their summer experience with their interests.
