3D Design & Making: Wearables & Home Objects_11:00-12:00 PM_Sat_3rd-8th

Students will explore 3D design, 3D printing, and creative making while designing a collection of personalized wearables, accessories, and objects for everyday life. Using iPads and 3D design software, students will learn how to take an idea from sketch → digital design → 3D mode or build object manually (depending on the week) → finished object. We will aim to have the selected projects meet the interest of our students.

Along the way, students will explore form, function, scale, color, texture, and personal style. The emphasis is on creativity, experimentation, problem-solving, and developing designs that feel uniquely their own. The session concludes with a Student Design Showcase, where students will display their favorite creations and share the ideas and processes behind their work. No previous 3D design experience is required—we just ask that students arrive ready to create, experiment, and with a positive attitude!
