Rather than tossing out outdated or ill-fitting garments, we’ll teach you how to transform them into something fresh, functional, and totally you. Participants will learn a range of techniques to rework, redesign, and reimagine their wardrobe using what they already have. In this class, you’ll learn how to:

Convert long-sleeve dresses or tops into sleeveless or short-sleeved styles
Turn old jeans into custom skirts or accessories
Shorten hems for a cropped, modern silhouette
Combine two or more tops to create an entirely new garment
Add statement patches, trims, or panels to upgrade plain piecesUse decorative stitching and visible mending to make flaws fabulous
Understand basic pattern hacking to reshape garments
Explore draping and deconstruction techniques
Choose the best tools and methods for different fabrics
Cultivate your own creative voice through sustainable design
